Xen Community: As I finish my first year as community manager for Xen.org, I thought I would take a few moments to highlight some of the community’s accomplishments for 2008. If you want more details, I have added a relevant web link or you can contact me directly.

To Xen API folks: I see that Josh West has added some feature requests to the Wiki (see list below). Also, I have posted some API functions that appear to be not written yet. I have not gotten any feedback so I guess I have a good list. So next
A new Xen management project has just been posted on the Xen.org Projects Page. The source code will be available soon for anyone interested in working on this project. I am adding two more weeks for open submissions of topics for Xen Summit Boston. May 16 will be the official close of topic submissions so the Program Committee can create the final agenda. Please send your topic request to stephen.spector@xen.org with a brief abstract and title.
Xen Community: As part of the Xen Summit at USENIX Technical Conference in Boston this June, we have the opportunity to run a full day Xen training session (xen-summit-training-overview.txt). I am looking for one or two volunteers who would like to organize and run this full day training sessions.
As I continue to learn more about Xen, I find it interesting to read old documents that show the transformation of Xen from a research project at Cambridge University to the current leading open source hypervisor technology.
